Floor & Stairwell Tactile Signs

chapter-6-tactile-plaques-new.jpgFloor identification markers are used for floor numbering or floor and stairwell identification as required under the local building/fire code. These are available with Raised (Tactile) Numbers and/or Letters on a Plaque Assembled to Meet Your Specifications

We also offer accessible plaques with Braille that meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and all Canadian National and Provincial accessibility requirements, such as the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and the Accessible British Columbia Act (ABCA)

Our signs are available in several different material options including, white, black, brushed silver and photoluminescent plastic and are intended to be customized to meet your building’s specifications.  All of our Floor Identification Markers come with double sided tape designed for uneven walls, such as painted concrete. Please ensure that you enter the required lettering, numbering and quantity of signs in the designated text box prior to placing your order in your cart. If you require further guidance, take a look at our product add-ons video.

Over the years we have accumulated extensive knowledge about stairwell sign regulations in multiple jurisdictions where regulations may vary. We can provide you with comprehensive guidance as to how to be compliant with your signage in terms of sizing and type font for the letters, the correct Braille requirements (ie compressed, uncompressed and correct dot sizes and positioning), sign dimensions, sign placement, material and colour options.
