Q. How do I place an order?

There are many quick and easy ways to order from Safety Media:

  • Order online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Q. Is ordering online safe? 

Yes! Safetymedia.com is fully secured using a Geotrust 256-bit Encryption SSL Certificate. This basically means that we as a company processing your order and you as a shopper are fully protected.

Q. Can you ship a product to arrive the same day, if required? 

Yes definitely, but with some restrictions:

  • We can only ship an order to arrive the same day if the order is shipped locally (within Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area)
  • The order must be placed before 2:30 p.m.
  • The products must be in stock
  • The products can't be specialty shipping items (dangerous goods, over 7', etc.).

If you're looking for an order faster than 1-3 business days (our regular shipping) and you're not located in Toronto, give us a call at 1-800-420-9737 as we may be able to ship your specific order quicker, depending on your requirements.

Q. Can I return or exchange a product? 

Yes, at Safety Media, we want you to be 100% satisfied. If you need to return or exchange a stock item for any reason, please call our Customer Service Representatives toll free at 1-800-420-9737, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. ET, Monday - Friday, or e-mail customerservice@safetymedia.com as some restrictions may apply. We will fully refund or exchange 99% of our products, however, custom or specially ordered products cannot be returned.

Q. Can I cancel an order? 

Yes, you may cancel an order if the order has not yet been shipped or picked up and/or if the products in your order have been specially ordered for you or are custom.

Q. Can I see past orders or past purchased products online? 

Yes! This is a fantastic new feature of safetymedia.com. We're proud to introduce the ability for our customers to now see all past orders as well as past products that were purchased. You must sign in or register to see this information.

At Safety Media, we respect your privacy and your information. We will never distribute, sell, donate, share or offer any of your information and we will never keep credit card or payment information on file for future reference.

Q. How do I get a printed product catalog? 

All you have to do is let us know that you want one (or more)! Here are a few easy ways:

  • Complete our catalog request page 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Q. I want to see a product in person, do you have a store? 

We not only have a store in Toronto, but we have a fully stocked store in Toronto! If you want to physically see a product or want to browse through an actual location, please come by for a visit, we'll be happy to see you and you may even catch a glimpse of our mascot Dooley! Q. Are products typically in stock? 

Yes, we understand and have built our business around the fact that sometimes you need products in a hurry which is why we try to keep stock of everything we sell. Some larger items (storage cabinets, safety cans) are usually the only products we may have limited stock of.

Q. Do you make custom signs and what is your turn-around time? 

We make all of the signs we sell in house, so this enables us to create all types of custom signs AND be able to make them quick! Whether it's a vinyl sticker, aluminum sign, a plastic sign, tag or banner - we can do it all! Most custom signs require about 2-3 business days to produce, however, please add more time for large quantity orders or specialty custom.

Q. How are you able to supply products so quickly? 

We manufacture above 85% of what we sell so we have full control of quality and availability, ensuring we can usually ship out all orders the day they are received.

Q. I may have questions about a product after I've purchased it, do you offer product support? 

Of course, we stand behind what we make and sell! If you have questions about a product after you've purchased it, just contact us and our extensively trained and knowledgable staff will be able to assist you. Q. I require the SDS sheet for a product, do you supply this information? 

Yes, if the product that we sell has a Material Safety Data Sheet, it is available on the details page of that product - see our EX01 Fire Extinguisher as an example.

Q. How often does Safety Media make new product catalogs or how up-to-date is safetymedia.com? 

Safety Media makes at least one printed product catalog a year, which mails out to our customers usually in January. But safetymedia.com is the most up-to-date way to find what you're looking for, as make new products and update the website almost daily!

Q. Is Safety Media's Pricing Competitive? 

We are constantly checking to make sure our pricing is great!  Some of our prices are significantly less than our competitors.

Q. How long has Safety Media been in business? 

Safety Media Inc. was created in 1987 as we saw the need to be able to get everything you need for commercial fire & safety in one place, and directly from a company with fire service knowledge history, who provides quick delivery and with fantastic prices.
