Safety Media's Fire Department approved Fire Safety Plan Boxes are required for all buildings that have a fire safety plan to ensure firefighters have quick and easy access to the building's important information.
This new addition to our lineup is fabricated from 12 gauge steel and comes with a heavy duty padlock - perfect for outdoor applications or to reduce tampering and vandalism.
These boxes are weather resistant, include highly visible reflective graphics, include key tags, tapcon mounting screws/wall anchors and include (2) padlocks. This box is also available in standard version (AA65) an stainless steel (AA65SS).
City of Toronto requires every fire safety plan box to be: (1) surface-mounted within three metres of the main entrance of the premises at a height between 1.5 metres to 1.8 metres above the floor; (2) securely mounted to an interior wall of the premises; and (3) of sufficient size to hold an unfolded fire safety plan.
