The Rb-70 sign is intended for exceptional cases where continued cycling is not suitable, such as where an in-boulevard cycling facility ends and cyclists would enter a sidewalk, pedestrian zone, signalized crosswalk or an area where cycling is not permitted. It helps provide a direct visual instruction at transition points where cyclist behaviour needs to change before entering a pedestrian-focused space.

Designed according to Ontario Traffic Manual Book 5 specifications, the Rb-70 sign measures 300 mm x 300 mm and features a green reflective permissive symbol, black legend and black border on a white reflective background. It is manufactured with minimum Type III or Type IV reflective sheeting, supporting strong visibility for outdoor cycling and pedestrian environments.
