Product Description
Place the fire-alarm re-entry message directly where stairwell users need to see it with Safety Media’s Re-Entry Door Unlocked By Fire Alarm Visual Sign. Red lettering on a non-gloss white surface clearly communicates that the emergency crossover door will become available for re-entry when the fire alarm system releases the electromagnetic lock.
Ontario Building Code Article 3.4.6.16.(5)(l)(ii) requires a visual information sign displaying the words RE-ENTRY DOOR UNLOCKED BY FIRE ALARM to comply with Article 3.8.3.1 and to be permanently mounted directly on the door, on the exit-stair side, at applicable emergency crossover doors. This product addresses the visual signage requirement. A separate tactile information sign with the same wording is required near the door under Subclause 3.4.6.16.(5)(l)(iii).
