• OBC Application: Designed to support Ontario Building Code 3.4.6.16 door release hardware applications where tactile signage is required near the door.
• Tactile Sign Placement: Tactile information signs are installed on the wall closest to the latch side of the door. Where there is no wall at the latch side, the sign is installed on the nearest wall on the right side of the door.
• Mounting Height / Hauteur d’installation: Centred 1500 mm above the finished floor, with the edge of the sign located not more than 300 mm from the door.
