Product Description
Identify emergency exit doors equipped with mag locks or other fire-alarm-released locking devices using Safety Media’s Bilingual Emergency Exit Unlocked By Fire Alarm Braille & Tactile Signs. Designed for permanent indoor mounting near the applicable exit door, these bilingual English/French signs help occupants, staff, visitors and individuals with visual impairment recognize the emergency exit and understand that the door unlocks when the fire alarm activates.
These signs are used in buildings where electromagnetic locking devices are connected to the fire alarm system and the exit door must be clearly identified with accessible tactile information. They are suitable for condominiums, commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, schools, public buildings and managed properties completing new construction, retrofit, accessibility or fire and life safety updates. Available in multiple high-contrast material options, these signs help property teams match required mag lock door signage with the building’s interior sign standard. Choose from white PVC Sintra, black PVC Sintra or brushed silver aluminum composite panel finishes.
