Fire Safety Plan Box, With Padlocks, 13x13x4"
Safety Media's Fire Department approved Fire Safety Plan Boxes are required for all buildings that have a fire safety plan to ensure firefighters have quick and easy access to the building's important information. These boxes are weather resistant, include highly visible reflective graphics, include key tags, mounting screws/wall anchors and include (2) padlocks. This box is also available in stainless steel (AA65SS) and now in a heavier duty vandal resistent version (AA65VR).
NOTE: Boxes being installed in the City of Toronto require Padlocks (AA65). Boxes being installed in the Region of Peel requires to be Keyed for Peel Region (AA12). Check with your local Fire Department for locking system requirements.
City of Toronto requires every fire safety plan box to be: (1) surface-mounted within three metres of the main entrance of the premises at a height between 1.5 metres to 1.8 metres above the floor; (2) securely mounted to an interior wall of the premises; and (3) of sufficient size to hold an unfolded fire safety plan.
